Andrews Set for Flight Final on Sunday

Rice sophomore Max Andrews advance to the finals of the B2 Singles flight with a pair of wins on Saturday, while Adam Gustafsson and Henrik Munch shook off quarterfinal losses to pick up consolation wins during action on day two of the Wake Forest Fall Invitational in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
Andrews bested Haris Poric of Wofford, 7-6 (5), 6-4 and then Victor Marum of UNC-Greensboro to earn a spot in the finals against Davidson's Artem Khrapko.
Gustafsson dropped a 7-5, 7-5 verdict to the second seed in the A2 flight, Jason Tahir of Duke, but rebounded with a 5-7, 6-0, 6-3 win over UNC-Wilimington's Xander Veys to earn a spot in the firth place match against Louisville's Michael Lippens.
Munch opened play in the B1 flight on Saturday with a 7-5, 6-1 loss to Wilmington's Javier Restrepo, then rallied to down VCU's Toni Batlle 1-6, 6-4, 6-4. He will face off against Tennessee's Bartosz Sawicki on Sunday morning.
Rice's final entry, Zach Yablon was unable to play his consolation match in C1 flight because of an injury sustained in his opening match on Friday.
Play will conclude on Sunday morning.
