Trejo Places Second in 3000m at Houston Indoor Invitational

Houston - Rice Owl distance runner, Michael Trejo placed second in the 3000m at the Houston Indoor Invitational Saturday at Yeoman Fieldhouse. Trejo posted a time of 8:27.81, while, sophomore Gabe Cuadra was sixth in the 3000m with a time of 8:38.02.
Placing sixth in the 5000m was Matt Carey with a time of 15:50.22, while Clayton Chaney finished sixth in the 60m hurdles with a time of 8.31. Alec Hsu placed eighth in the pole vault with a mark of 4.55m/14-11.
In the triple jump Ugo Nduaguba with a mark of 14.56m/47-9.25, placed sixth in the triple jump. Alex Zinchenko also placed eighth with a distance of 15.96m/52-4.5.
