USA Track & Field National Championships Start List and Results
Eugene, Ore. -- Rice University pole vaulter Jason Colwick placed sixth at the USA National Outdoor Track & Field Championships held at Hayward Field on the campus of the University of Oregon.
A junior from San Marcos, Texas, and the 2009 NCAA Indoor and Outdoor Champion, Colwick cleared his first two heights of 5.55m/18-2.5 and 5.65m/18-6.5 on his first attempt, but missed on all three tries at 5.70m/18-8.25. He originally passed on the opening height of 5.40m/17-8.5.
Brad Walker, the reigning world champion won the competition.
