Rice-SMU Semifinal Moved Indoors

The semifinal matches in the 14th Conference USA Women's Tennis Championships have been moved indoors due to the continued storms in the Houston area. Matches have been moved back and will now start at 2 p.m.
The host Rice Owls, who were seeded fifth in the tournament, will take on top-seeded and 25th-ranked SMU Mustangs on one side of the bracket, while second-seeded Tulsa and third-seeded Marshall will meet in the other semifinal.
Rice (13-11) has come through the first two rounds of the tournament with 4-0 shutouts of Southern Miss and Houston to reach the semifinals of its conference tournament for the seventh consecutive year.
There is no admission charge for the C-USA Women's Tennis Championships. The Club is located atop the Galleria mall on the 3rd level of the Orange Garage facing West Alabama. Fans should enter the Galleria Parking Garage through Gate 6 off of West Alabama and then proceed to the third level of the parking garage. There are signs directing you to the GATC when you enter Gate Six.

The championship match is scheduled for 10 am on Sunday morning at the Jake Hess Tennis Center on the campus of Rice University.
