Colwick Qualifies for NCAA Regionals at Texas Relays

Rice freshman Jason Colwick cleared 5.05 meters/16-6.75 to place sixth in the "B" pole vault and qualify for the NCAA Regional meet Thursday at the 80th Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays at Mike A. Myers Stadium. Colwick won the 5A state title at this stadium last year for San Marcos High School.
In the 400 hurdles prelims, freshmen Ryan Gard (57.99) and Daryl Zavesky (58.23) did not advance to the final.
