Rice Men 8th at NCAA Regionals

Aaron Robson was 24th overall and the Rice men's cross country team finished eighth Saturday with 230 points at the NCAA South Central Championships at the Cottonwood Creek golf course near Waco. Arkansas won the team title with 24 points.

Robson clocked 31:22 on the 10-kilometer course. The individual title was won by Shadrack Songok of Texas A&M-Corpus Christi in 29:41.

Other finishers for Rice were Pablo Solares (39th in 32:08), Brad Morris (48th in 32:19), Brett Olson (57th in 32:47), Scott Zivick (62nd in 33:01), Justin Maxwell (86th in 34:00) and Alex Solomon (92nd in 34:21).
