Bryce Cox

It's only the eve of the baseball team's annual Coca Cola Classic Tournament, but Ballpark Chatter has already made the call down to the bullpen for junior right-hander Bryce Cox.

Bryce Cox has had some solid relief work for the Owls this season. The Carrollton native has not allowed any runs on three hits and a walk while striking out nine in five innings. He's held opposing hitters to a .188 batting average.

Did you know? Cox already has two saves in five Rice outings. Last year no Owl pitcher had two saves until mid March.
