Women's Tennis: Owls Swept By #25 TCU

After claiming the doubles point, the Horned Frogs swept the Owls at number one, three and four singles. Senior Erin Waters ended her collegiate career with a 6-2, 6-3 loss to Katrin Gaber at the top spot. After four years at Rice, Waters finishes her career with an 80-63 record and stands at ninth for all-time singles victories. Freshmen Yasmin Fisher and Annie Goodrich, playing at five and six singles, respectively, each won their first sets and were up in the second before their matches were suspended when TCU sucured the team victory.
The Owls finish the 2001 campaign with a 10-11 overall record.
