Kelsie Osato joined the Rice University Sports Medicine Department in August 2022. She is responsible for managing the health care of the volleyball team.
Kelsie is a graduate of University of South Carolina where she earned a degree in Athletic Training. She received her master’s degree in Advanced Athletic Training from University of South Florida where she worked with volleyball, cheer, and dance. She received her Doctorate in Athletic Training from Temple University where she worked with women's lacrosse, men's crew, and women's rowing. Kelsie also had the opportunity to work with USA Softball.
Her professional interests include manual therapy, along with mental health awareness.
Kelsie is currently a member of NATA, PATS, and CATS. Kelsie resides in Houston, TX with her dog Stella.
