Spring : Played primarily at No. 3 in her first season at the collegiate level and was 11-7 in dual action (10-7 at 3) Closed strongly, winning six of her last seven decisions, including delivering the clinching point for the Owls' 4th consecutive C-USA title 4-1 in three-set matches, including last three Ranked 48th in doubles with Katherine Ip Ip and Smith moved into the No. 1 spot in doubles USF and won seven of their last nine , including a 7-5 win over then #10 Blair Shankle and Kiah Generette of Baylor which boosted them into the national rankings and a 6-2 win over Vanderbilt's No. 14 Courtney Colton/Sydney Campbell in the second round of the NCAA team championship Duo qualified for the NCAA Doubles Championship and dropped a tough three-set match to UCLA's Catherine Harrison and Kyle McPhillips, 5-7, 7-5, 5-10. Fall: Closed out her first semester of collegiate action with an 8-4 mark in singles and 7-4 slate in doubles... Reached the finals of the Second Flight singles at the Rice Invitational but title matches were rained out... Closed fall by going 2-1 in action at the Kitty Harrison Invitational, with lone loss coming in a tiebreaker to Virginia's 28th ranked Stephanie Nauta... Combined with Solo Zinko to reach the Round of 16 at the USTA/ITA Texas Regional doubles.
Juniors:
Attended Highclare School in Birmingham... Finalist in the British U 18 Championships and reached a career-best ITF Junior ranking of 98... Named the W orcestershire County Player of the Year in 2013.
