2016 (Senior): Played in 36 sets...recorded five service aces, including a season-high two aces vs. North Texas (10/28/16) and vs. UTSA (11/12/16)...season-high four digs at UTEP (10/23/16)...named to the C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll and earned a C-USA Academic Medal.
2015 (Junior): Played in 33 sets as a walk-on…recorded six service aces, including a season-high two at North Texas (10/2)…10 total digs.
High School: Graduated from and played volleyball at Elkins High School in Missouri City, Texas for head coach Chelsea Larsen ... earned first-team all-district honors as well as academic all-district honors ... member of National Honors Society, National Science Honors Society and National Art Honors Society.
Personal: Full Name: Meghan Danielle Patterson ... Parents: Darrell and Julie Patterson .. Father is the assistant head coach for the Rice football team and coaches the linebackers/special teams. He played football at TCU from 1979-82 before playing professionally for the New York Giants (1983), Winnipeg Blue Bombers (1984-88) and Hamilton Tiger Cats (1988-90) ... has one brother, Michael, who played football at Rice from 2008-12 ...
