Led the Owls and was fourth in the AAC last season, averaging 8.2 yards in his first season as the primary returner for Rice. His 21 returns were second in the conference and the most by an Owl since Ja’Corey Shepherd returned 22 punts in 2007… Returned a season-best five punts for 83 yards (a long of 30 yards) vs. Navy and added 59 on three kickoff returns to finish with 142 all-purpose yards, his most as an Owl… 83 punt return yards in a game were the most by an Owl since Mario Hull totaled 121 yards on eight returns vs. Memphis in 2011… Downed a pair of punts at the one-yard line on punt coverage.

Saw action in nine games, primarily on special teams… Saw action on 85 special teams snaps with an additional 25 on offense… Returned kickoffs in the last two regular-season games and the Lending Tree Bowl, finishing with 70 yards on four returns. Returned seven punts for 26 yards with a long return of 10 at North Texas.
