Kiersten Hardeman joined the Owls in August 2022 as the Director of Creative Media. Hardeman came to Rice from the University of Virginia, where she served as the Multimedia & Creative Content Director for the Women's Basketball Program led by Tina Thompson in 2021.
Hardeman oversees the social media plan for football, designing and implementing content to market Rice Football effectively. She monitors and engages with online communities across all platforms in order to maintain a competitive edge and stay ahead of industry trends.
In her first four years, he efforts have seen the Rice Football Instagram grow from 12.4K to 64K followers while Rice Football's X account has grown from 24K to 60K over four seasons.
