Stepped into the starting role alongside Sean Fresch at corner back and started all 12 games and played 611 snaps which ranked fourth among Owls’ defenders… Second on the team with eight pass breakups, and broke a pair in three games (UTSA, Tulane, South Florida)… Credited with a career-best six tackles in his starting debut (8/31 vs. Sam Houston)… Credited with five tackles and two breakups in the win over UTSA… Forced a fumble late in the first quarter vs. South Florida to set up a field goal to extend Rice’s lead to 17-7.

Transfer from Fullerton College who joined the Owls in the summer and saw action in 10 games, with 86 snaps on special teams and 17 on defense. Made his debut in the opener at Texas and was credited with his first career tackle with a special teams stop vs. Houston… Also recorded special teams tackles vs. Texas Southern and UConn.

All Region III and All-SCFA Southern Conference selection for coach Garrett Campbell as Hornets reached the finals of the Southern California Regional Championship and finished the season ranked third ...
