Switched to wide receiver in the spring and saw action in two games to retain a redshirt. Gained two yards vs. Texas Southern in his only carry in six snaps.
2023
One of four high school signees joined the Owls for the spring semester and went on to see action in four games and the First Responder Bowl … Completed 13 of 19 passes for 100 yards and rushed for 82 yards on 14 carries and scored one touchdown… Made his debut against Texas Southern and rushed for 45 yards on three carries… Scored his first career touchdown on a 28-yard run vs. East Carolina…. Called on to take over for starter JT Daniels in the second half against SMU and was 10 of 16 for 85 yards through the air and added 14 on the ground.

All-District 23-6A selection as a junior for coach Shawn Gray, but was limited to five games as a senior… Threw for 1,216 yards and 14 TDs in those five games and for 4,735 yards and 46 TDs and just six interceptions in 22 varsity games in his career… Team MVP in football and track as a junior… Played at Bellaire Episcopal as a freshman and sophomore and was named to the SPC Super Team...
