2024: Grad transfer who joined the Owls for the spring semester after four seasons at Bucknel ans saw action in four games (Texas Southern, Houston, Army & Charlotte) before electing to enter the transfer portal… Carried the ball twice for 28 yards and a touchdown vs. TSU… Saw action on 18 special teams players (16 kick return, 1 punt return, 1 kick coverage) in addition to his two carries vs. Texas Southern .

2023
Served as a team captain as a senior… Played in 10 games and made seven starts … Totaled 1,377 all-purpose yards, ranking 12th in the FCS, and 137,7 all-purpose yards per game (6th) … Led the team with 496 rush yards and added 340 yards receiving …Led the Patriot League with 541 kick return yards (21.6 YPR)… Ran for 106 yards on 21 carries with a touchdown against Holy Cross … Scored twice on the ground, and finished with 91 yards and 112 yards returning kicks in a win at Colgate.
2022
Second on the team with 336 yards rushing and two rushing TDs… Played in 10 of 11 games, making five starts … Third on the team in receptions (18) and fourth in receiving yards (170) … led the team in kickoff returns (21) and kickoff return yards (452), averaging 21.52 … Patriot League Special Teams Player of the Week after 93-yard kickoff return touchdown in win at Georgetown … Rushed for season-high 80 yards on 16 carries in win over Marist.
2021
Preseason All-Patriot League Team as a return specialist ... played in eight games, starting four at running back and four at wide receiver ... Finished third among Bison in carries (45) and fourth in rushing yards (112) ... Added 17 receptions for 100 yards.
2021 (Spring)
Played in all four games (three starts), seeing time as a running back and kick returner ... Led the team in carries and finished second in rushing yards ... Logged a season-best 186 all-purpose yards on 34 rushing yards, 24 receiving yards and a season-high 128 kick return yards against Fordham ... also ran for first collegiate touchdown, a 23-yard score, and returned opening kickoff 76 yards in that contest… Presented Bucknell’s Stuart M. Smith Memorial Award as the most outstanding newcomer.

Lettered in football and track & field … captained both teams … helped the football team capture a Class 5A state championship in 2018 …. It was the Chiefs' first state title in program history.

Full name: Coleman Taylor Bennett... Born: October 31... Parents: Donnell Jr. and Adrienne Bennet… three brothers…. Father played fullback on Miami’s 1991 National Championship team that shut out Nebraska in the Orange Bowl and was a second-round pick of the Kansas City Chiefs… One brother (Matthew) played football at Trinity College, and a second (Donnell III) played at St. Thomas…. Enrolled in the Rice Master’s of Global Affairs program.
