Roger Hayhurst is entering his second year as Video Coordinator for Rice Football after spending the previous five seasons as an assistant at Mississippi State University
In his role with the Owls, Hayhurst supervises the staff filming of every practice and game and provides edited practice and opponent footage to the coaching staff. He also manages internal post-production and assists with recruiting media production.
Before his tenure at Mississippi State, Hayhurst was the Director of Video Operations for Fairmont State University where he created and developed the video program for five sports. He was named the CSVA Division II National Video Coordinator of the Year in 2012.
A native of Fairmont, West Virginia, Hayhurst attended North Marion High School and served eight years in the United States Air Force. He is a graduate of Fairmont State University.
Roger and his wife Michelle have four sons, Maxwell, Jack, Oliver, & Sam
