Hunter Houser enters his first season with Rice as an offensive graduate assistant working with tight ends.
A 2018 graduate of Crosby High School,. Houser played for four seasons at Trinity University as a linebacker under coach Jerheme Urban, helping Trinity return to the NCAA DIII playoffs for the first time in 11 years.
He began coaching as a graduate assistant at Trinity in 2022, working with the linebackers in 2022 before being promoted to assistant defensive line coach in 2023.
