Dorian Maddox joined the Owls in August of 2023 as a special teams graduate assistant.
Maddox came to Rice after one season at Stanford serving as a GA under current Owls special teams coordinator Pete Alamar. He played running back and returned kicks for the Cardinal from 2016-19, seeing action in 35. He played against Rice in the 2017 Sydney Cup and gained 29 yards on eight carries.
He was a double major in Communications and Psychology at Stanford and completed work on his Masters while serving as a GA in 2022.
