Bryan Kirby is entering his seventh season with Rice baseball as the Director of Operations after joining the program in the fall of 2018.
A native of Nashville, Tenn., Kirby spent 21 years with Coca-Cola Consolidated serving various roles, most recently managing business accounts as an account developer/manager in Cookeville, Tenn. He directed a travel/select baseball organization and coached/managed the team while serving on the Putnam County Youth Baseball board and coaching middle school baseball.
Kirby graduated from Tennessee Tech University in 1997 with a degree in Business Management. He and his wife (Valarie) have 3 children. His daughter Sydney (21), who plays softball at Tennessee Tech University in Cookeville TN, is studying to be a nurse. His son Drew (18) plays baseball at the University of Louisiana in Lafayette. His daughter Ellie (16) is a sophomore at Cypress Ranch High School in Cypress TX. His wife Valarie teaches 7th grade at Smith Middle School in Cypress. In his free time, Bryan enjoys running, hunting and fishing, and spending time with his family.
