The New Season
Rice is set to open the 2026 campaign against Texas A&M on Wednesday evening at Holloway Field. The Owls are eyeing a third consecutive season-opening win.
Preseason Honors
Three Owls represented Rice on the American Conference Preseason Watch List, with Jadyn Jaeger, Lilly Reuscher and Dayo Tennyson all receiving honors. The Owls were picked third in the preseason coaches poll.
Rice vs. Texas A&M
This is the ninth meeting all-time between Owls and Aggies, with Texas A&M holding a 7-1 series lead. Rice's lone win came during the 2020-21 season in a 3-2 overtime win over No. 15-ranked Aggies.

Lilly Reuscher was named to the 2026 United Soccer Coaches Missouri Athletic Club Hermann Trophy Watch List. Reuscher was an All-Conference Third Team selection last year, contributing to five shutouts by the Owl defense, and also earned Second Team All-Region honors.
