HOUSTON – The Rice men's tennis team will travel to North Carolina this weekend to face Charlotte and UTSA.
Rice is coming off a 4-3 win at Tulane last weekend, where Gabriel Porras clinched the match for the Owls at 4-1 before play continued.
The Owls will face host Charlotte on Friday before taking on UTSA on Saturday. Rice enters the weekend with a 9-6 overall record and a 4-1 mark on the road.
Rice holds a 6-2 all-time advantage over Charlotte and leads 2-0 in matches played in Charlotte. Against UTSA, the Owls hold a 21-7 series lead, including a 1-1 mark at neutral sites.
