West Named to College Classic All-Tournament Team

Hit .444 in three games at Daikin Park
Rice catcher Landon West was named to the 2025 Astros Foundation College Classic All-Tournament team which was announced on Wednesday.
The sophomore from Katy who played at Tompkins High School, slashed .444/.55/.778 over the weekend in starts against Mississippi State, Tennessee, and Texas A&M with a double, triple, and a pair of walks along with two RBI.
West and his Rice teammates will be back in action on Wednesday when they host Houston in the first game of the 2025 Silver Glove Serries at Reckling Park at 6:30.
