
Rice Sees Improvements at Weekend’s Meets

HOUSTON – The Rice women's track and field team had their last weekend of meets before the conference championship, seeing several top finishes across three different meets at Texas Tech, Boston University of Houston.
At the Jarvis Scott Open, Morgan Fey was fourth in the shot put while Julia Johannesdottir finished sixth in the 60m hurdles. Riana Green ran a personal best time in the 200m with a 24.23m, which ranks eighth all-time at Rice.
Over at UH, Darcey Lonsdale has a second-place finish in the 600y. Ava White (800m) and Brooklyn Crow (mile) both finished fourth in their event.
In Boston, Amelie Attenborough had a top 100 showing in the mile with a time of 4:51.31.
