RIce and Fresno State to Meet in 2026 &2027

Series returns to Houston in 2027
Rice and Fresno State jointly announced on Tuesday the schools will resume the football series between the Owls and Bulldogs with games in 2026 and 2027.
Rice will travel to Fresno to face the Bulldogs on September 26, 2026, with the return meeting in Houston on September 11, 2027.
The schools have met seven times previously, with Fresno winning the first six between the schools as members of the Western Athletic Conference from 1999-2004 while the Owls won the most recent meeting, capturing the 2014 Hawai'i Bowl with a 30-6 win.
