Annual Huddle-Up Set for September 6-7

HOUSTON – Rice Athletics and the "R" Association will welcome back former football players to Rice Stadium, September 6-7, for the annual Huddle-Up reunion. The centerpiece of the festivities will be Rice's football game against crosstown foe Texas Southern at 6 p.m. on Sept. 7.
Festivities begin on Friday, Sept. 6 with the 2024 Huddle-Up Reunion Social in the R Room in Rice Stadium at 6 p.m. The following day, former letterwinners and their families will join at the "R" Association Tailgate at Gate 1, starting at 4 p.m. as they prepare to cheer on the Owls that night.
Along with welcoming back all letterwinners with an on-field recognition, Rice will honor four previous football teams: the 1994 team (30-year anniversary), the 1999 team (25-year anniversary), the 2004 team (20-year anniversary), and the 2014 team (10-year anniversary).
Letterwinners who need a replacement R Card can do so by completing this form. Football Letterwinners will receive (1) complimentary mobile ticket or free entry with their R Card. Additional guest tickets can be purchased at a discounted rate here.
