Golf Closes Play at All-American Intercollegiate

HUMBLE, Texas — The Rice Golf closed play at the All-American Intercollegiate, played at the Golf Club of Houston's Tournament Course.
The Owls carded a final round 303 to finish +27, in a tie for 13th-place with Southern Miss. Texas Tech won the team tournament at +7, two strokes in front of Sam Houston.
Freshman Reggie Zhu tied for 12th-place at +1 after finishing with an even par 72. It was his ninth round of par or better and second Top 20 finish this season.
Senior Blake Benson posted a 79 to tie for 34th-place at +7. Sophomore Lukas Boandl carded a 76 to finish +10, tied for 53rd-place.
Junior Raghav Chugh tied for 60th-place at +11 after shooting a 76 and fifth-year senior Jay Kirchdorfer posted an 80 to tie for 80th-place at +15.
In the individual tournament, played on the Member's Course, freshman Jaivir Pande finished in 28th-place at +19 after closing with a 76. Senior Rodrigo Martin shot a 75 to finish +20 in 29th-place tie and freshman Braeden Hoyt tied for 36th-place at +25 after posting a 78.
UNLV's Yuki Moriyama won the individual tournament at -5 defeating Sam Houston's Bret Gray in a playoff.
