First meeting between the Owls and Huskies in football
Rice and UConn's first-ever meeting in football will kick off at 4 p.m. on Saturday, October 7 as announced by The American Athletic Conference on Monday.
The game will be broadcast nationally on ESPN+ and will close out the Owls' 2023 non-conference schedule. The game will feature the annual Salute to Service as well as the 5th annual Craft Brew Festival.
