Postgame Reaction – Head Coach Genny Volpe
"I am extremely disappointed in our performance tonight. That is not Rice Volleyball by any stretch of the imagination. This was a rough wake-up call and we will need to bounce back extremely quickly. Louisiana came in, stayed aggressive the entire match and never let up. And we just never responded to it. I believe we will learn from this and will not repeat that type of performance again."
