Morais and Sendogan Swee Opening Matches at Wesbrooks Invitational

Beaumont: Emir Sendogan and Eduardo Morais posted singles wins and combined for a victory in doubles on their first day of competition at the Ron Wesbrooks Invitational at the Thompson Family Tennis Center on Friday.
Details: Sendogan swept to a straight-set win in the A Flight, but Morais had to bounce back from a 6-0 loss in his second set to win in a superset over Texas A&M Corpus Christie's Antoine Vicaire in the B flight.

Eduardo Morais def. Antoine Vicaire (TAMU Corpus Christi) 6-1, 0-6, 10-5

Morais/ Sendogan def. Merse Deli/Mihaly Deli (Abilene Christian) 6-4
Up Next: Play opens at 9 a.m. with the doubles semifinals. Morais and Sendogan will face Corpus Christi's Etienne Mart and Avery Zavala in the A Flight. Singles pool will follow at 11 a.m. with a pair of to determine the matchups for Sunday's final round of matches.
