Sendogan Rallies to Advance at Regional

Owls place two in consolation singles semis
Fort Worth- One game away from elimination, Emir Sendogan rallied for a three-set win and advance to the consolation singles draw quarterfinals at the ITA Texas Men's Regional at the Friedman Tennis Center on Saturday.
Details: After winning his opening match of the day, Sendogan found himself down 3-6, 3-5 to Evin McDonald of Texas only to rally to take the second set in a tiebreaker and then win the superset 10-5 to join Arthus de la Bassetiere in Sunday's quarterfinals. In doubles, Kabeer Kapasi and Yasha Zemel picked up a win in their first match and will play in Sunday's consolation doubles final against teammates de la Bassetiere and Eduardo Morais who also advanced without playing a match due to withdrawals by other teams.
