HOUSTON — The Rice Soccer team welcomes Incarnate Word to Holloway Field for the first time this Sunday, Aug. 28. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. CT and the match will be streamed by CUSAtv.

• Head Coach Brian Lee is in his fourth season at the helm of the Rice soccer program. He holds a 34-17-7 record in three seasons and is 321-205-62 in 25 years as a head coach.
• Goalkeeper Bella Killgore leads the Owls with nine shots and six shots on goal, while also scoring her sixth career goal. In the net, she has a 1.33 goals against average and a 75.0% save percentage.
• Rice welcomes back 14 letterwinners and eight starters from last year's squad that went 10-5-2.
• Rice returns seven of its top 10 scorers from last year, led by Delaney Schultz, who tallied nine goals, and sophomore Natalie Gorji and junior Izzy McBride, who added three and two goals apiece.
• The Owls welcome 10 newcomers to the squad, including seven true freshmen, two grad transfers, and a sophomore.

• Head Coach Marc Verriere Costa is in his first season at the helm of the Incarnate Word soccer program, where he holds a 0-1-0 record.
• The Cardinals dropped their opening match of the season, 3-0, at Texas State.
• Forward Sierra Wannamaker was named to the Southland Conference's Preseason All-Conference First Team after recording 13 points (five goals, three assists) last year.
• Midfielder Keeley Adams was named to the Second Team after scoring three goals and adding two assists last season.
• Goalkeepers Makenzie Hall and Margaret Kofron return after splitting time last year. Hall had a 0.65 goals against average and 81.8% save percentage in nine games played while Kofron had a 1.30 GAA and 72.4% save percentage in 12 matches.
