
Haet Named to C-USA All-Academic Team

Rice senior Michaela Haet has been named to the 2021 Conference USA Women's Tennis All-Academic team, as selected by the academic advisors from the conference's 14 institutions.
Haet, who will lead the Owls in defense of their C-USA title this weekend in Denton, Texas, has posted a 3.79 GPA while majoring in Sport Management with Leadership Concentration.
She is a three-time ITA All-Academic Individual Award recipient, a Rice Scholar Athlete in 2020 and a Rice Honor Athlete in 2021 and has been a member of the C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll throughout her career.
Haet was the named the C-USA Player of the Year in 2019 while leading the Owls to their sixth team title in the last seven years.
