Combined dual with Rice men's tennis
In Brief: The Rice women's tennis team, 7-2 and tied for 34th in the latest Oracle/ITA rankings, will host Memphis at 11 a.m. on Saturday as part of a combined dual with the Rice men's team. The Owls dual with North Texas, originally slated for Sunday, has been postponed due to anticipated rains in Houston and will be rescheduled in the near future.
Come on In: Matches at the George R. Brown Tennis Center are once again open to the public under the following guidelines.

Memphis: The Tigers are 3-10 heading into a Friday dual match vs. Houston. Rice leads the series 5-0, including a 7-0 win in the most recent meeting in 2017 at GRBTC.
Owls Notables:
- Rice is 6-3 so far this year in the doubles point (6-0 when winning the point).
- Rice has seen three members of the Owls win C-USA's Women's Tennis Athlete of the Week this season: Federica Trevisan (Jan. 10), Maria Budin (Feb. 10), Diae El Jardi (March 3).
- Trevisan (7-1) leads the Owls in dual singles wins and has won her last five matches.

Schedule Update: Rice saw a pair of matches postponed due the recent winter storms and both have been rescheduled. The Owls will combine with the Rice men's team to host UTA on March 25 at 1 p.m. and then travel to Austin on Sunday, March 27 to face Texas. The match vs. Sam Houston, originally scheduled for February 12 before it was cancelled due to COVID-19 issues within the Bearkats program has not yet been rescheduled.
Next Up: The Owls will travel to New Orleans next weekend to take on Tulane on March 20 at noon.
