Meet the Newest Owls
Mike Bloomgren and staff capped a hectic early recruiting effort on Wednesday, adding 11 players who will join the Owls for the 2022 season.
"I am thrilled with how this class is shaping up. I think the quality of this class is exceptional. We knew going in that it would not be a big class which allowed us to be selective and shoot for the stars and that is where we landed. We are so fired up about what each of them will bring to the table, from the eight high school players, our one grad transfer, and one from junior college. Although this class is not yet a finished product, I could not be happier with where we are today."
The 11 players represent five states, six from Texas and one each from California, Florida, Georgia, Hawai'i, and Louisiana.
The class consists of eight high school seniors along with one junior college standout, one graduate, and one undergraduate transfer from another FBS program.
