
Rice Begins First C-USA Road Trip at UTSA

HOUSTON — Rice goes on the road for the first time in conference play when it begins a three-game road trip this Thursday, Jan. 10, at UTSA. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. CT and the game will be livestreamed by ESPN+.
Scouting Rice
• Rice is 7-9 overall and 2-1 in Conference USA. The Owls have won two straight after defeating Louisiana Tech, 78-66, on Saturday.
• Rice has four players scoring double-figures, led by freshman guard Chris Mullins with 12.9 points. He also leads the team in steals with 1.4 per game.
• Junior guard Ako Adams is tied for second on the team with 12.7 points per game. He is connecting on 39.6% from three while leading the team with 3.1 assists per game.
