
Men's Hoops Begins Three-Game Road Trip at BYU

HOUSTON — Rice begins a three-game road trip this Wednesday, Nov. 21, when it travels to Provo, Utah to face BYU in its final game of the Men Against Breast Cancer Cougar Cup. Tip-off is scheduled for 8 p.m. CT and the game will be televised by BYUtv.
Scouting Rice
• Rice is 3-2 after defeating Northwestern State, 102-74, last Saturday.
• Rice has four players averaging double-figures, led by guard Ako Adams with 14.8 points per game. The junior is connecting on 46.9% from three while also leading the team with 4.2 assists per game.
• Guard Robert Martin is second on the team with 12.6 points. The junior is connecting on 63.3% from the field and is tops in Conference USA in three-point field goal percentage, connecting on 62.5%. He's also second on the team with 6.2 rebounds per game.
• Graduate transfer Jack Williams is scoring 11.6 points while leading the squad with 7.2 rebounds.
• Guard Josh Parrish is adding 10.4 points and is connecting on 59.4% from the floor.
• The Owls are scoring 79.8 points while allowing 73.6.
