Livingstone Named to C-USA All-Academic Team

Senior holds a 3.73 GPA
IRVING, Texas – Rice redshirt senior outside hitter Shelby Livingstone was named to the 2018 InTouch Credit Union Conference USA Volleyball All-Academic Team for the first time in her career, the league office announced on Tuesday.
Livingstone, who has a 3.73 GPA and is a double major in Cognitive Sciences and Psychology, is second on the Owls in aces (22), third in total digs (322) and digs per set (3.10), and fourth in total points (226.0). The Malibu, Calif. native has five double-doubles this season and 18 matches with or more 10 digs.
Livingstone has been named to the C-USA Academic Honor Roll four times and is a two-time Rice University Honor Athlete.
The Owls have now had at least one student-athlete named to the C-USA All-Academic Team in 13 consecutive seasons.
Livingstone and the No. 1 seed Owls face Charlotte this Friday, Nov. 16 in the quarterfinals of the C-USA Championship. First serve is scheduled for 11 a.m. (CT) on ESPN+.
