Owls Wrap Up 2026 Spring Slate

HOUSTON – The Rice women's volleyball team wrapped up its 2026 spring season at Texas.
The Owls opened the spring slate at the F.A.S.T. Tournament in Houston before hosting the Lone Star Showdown, where they faced TCU and Texas A&M. To close their home schedule, Rice hosted Houston before finishing the spring at Texas.
Rice closed the 2025 season at the NCAA Tournament, earning an at-large bid after winning the American Conference regular-season title and posting a 17-match winning streak.
Head coach Genny Volpe said, "I'm extremely excited about this team, as they have grown so much over the spring season. We have a lot of talent, but most importantly we have a group of young women who want to be great and are putting in the work. The 2026 team looks to continue to take Rice volleyball to new heights."
