Hodge and Zhang Fall in Regional Round of 16

Lindsey Hodge and Wendy Zhang both dropped their third round singles matches while Hodge and Priya Niezgoda saw their doubles run end in the quarterfinals on Day Three of the 2016 ITA Texas Regional Championship Presented by Oracle in Waco on Saturday.
Hodge fell to Miriam Rosell of UTSA 6-3; 6-1 while Zhang was eliminated by Tina Bokhua of Texas A&M, 7-6(4); 6-0.
Hodge and Niezgoda extended the fifth seeds Elizabeth Profit and Blair Shankle to a tiebreaker before falling 8-7 (4).
The Owls will be back in action as a team in two weeks when they travel to College Station to complete the Texas A&M Quads.
