Women's Cross Country Named All-Academic Team

Rice's women's cross country squad was named a USTFCCCA All-Academic team, the association announced Monday. The Owls had a team GPA of 3.561.
Rice finished fourth in the C-USA Championships and 11th at the NCAA South Central Regional Championship.
Rice runner Farah Madanay was selected to C-USA Women's Cross Country All-Academic team in 2012.
To qualify as a USTFCCCA All-Academic Cross Country Team, the team must have had a cumulative team GPA of 3.00 or better and have started at least five runners at their respective NCAA regional championship.
