Garforth-Bles Falls in Semis

Sam Garforth-Bles saw his run in the consolation bracket of the Baylor-HEB Invitational come to an end on Sunday morning with a straight set loss to Yauhen Yakaulev of Texas-Arlington at the Baylor Tennis Center in Waco.
After a first-set tiebreaker that saw Yakaulev prevail 7-6 (5), he came back to win the second set 6-1 and advance to the final match. Garforth-Bles wrapped up the weekend with a 3-2 mark.
The Owls will be on familiar ground next weekend when they host Arkansas, LSU and Tulane for the Rice Invitational, September 30- October 2.
