Owls Fall in Doubles Title Match

MIDLAND - Peter Frank and Harry Fowler, a pair of newcomers to the Rice University tennis program, ended play at the Racquet Club Collegiate Invitational Sunday with an 8-4 loss to Oklahoma's Lawrence Formentara and John Harry Warden.
The tandem had advanced to the championship with an 8-6 win over Baylor's Sergio Ramirez and Robert Verzaal a day earlier.
The Owls are back in action this weekend at the Baylor Invitational in Waco.
