Nusslein Drops Three-Set Decision at ITA All-American

Rice University's Michael Nusslein dropped a 6-4, 4-6, 6-3 decision to USC's Peter Lucassen in the second round of qualifying at the 2010 D'Novo/ITA All-American Tennis Championships being played in Tulsa, Okla.
Nusslein began tournament play by beating Ohio State's Shuhei Uzawa 6-4, 7-5 on Monday.
Also on Tuesday, Nusslein and Rice teammate Christian Saravia suffered an 8-6 loss to Washington's Kyle McMorrow and Jeevan Nedunchezhiyan in first-round qualifying of doubles play. McMorrow and Nedunchezhiyan, the No. 3 seeded team in doubles in qualifying also won their second-round match on Tuesday.
