The 34th Annual Rice Invitational cross country meet takes place on Saturday on the Rice campus with the first high school race getting underway at 8 a.m. The Rice women's cross country team is currently ranked 20th in the nation in the first USTFCCCA poll. The women's university race is slated to start at 8:20 a.m. The university men's race is set to go at 8:45 a.m.
Competing for head coach Jim Bevan's Owls are senior Claire Shorall, sophomore Marie Thompson, and freshmen Addie Quinn, Sophie Peeters, Georgina Norton, Johanna Ohm, Heather Olson, and Kathryn Zebrowski.
