Rosa Drops Opening Match at All-American Championships

TULSA, Okla. - Rice University senior tennis player Bruno Rosa suffered a 6-4, 6-4 loss to North Carolina's Clay Donato in the opening round of the D'Novo/ITA All-American Tennis Championships.
Donato entered the tournament as the field's No. 15 seed and the 16th-ranked collegian according to the Intercollegiate Tennis Association. Bruno began the season ranked No. 22 by the ITA.
The Owls turn their attention now to the ITA South Central Regional Championships scheduled for Oct. 24-27 in College Station.
