Rice Women's CC Places Second at HBU Invitational

The Rice Owls women's cross country B team placed second at the HBU/Puma Invitational with 40 points, just five behind first place HBU (35). UT-Pan American was third with 46 points and Texas Southern was fourth with 115 points.
The Owls placed four runners among the top 10 finishers. Marie Walsh was third (16:12.), Addie Quinn was eighth (16:51.7), and Georgina Norton placed ninth (16:54.6). Placing 10th was Erin Watson (16:58.1).
