
No. 19 Men's Tennis Loses at No. 60 SMU

DALLAS - The No. 19 Rice men's tennis team dropped a 5-0 decision to No. 60 SMU in a C-USA match Sunday afternoon at the Turpin Tennis Center on the SMU campus.
SMU (16-7) received straight set victories from spots No. 3 through No. 6 in the singles lineup after clinching the doubles point.
Rice's (12-7) Bruno Rosa and Christoph Müller were up a set and a break when play was stopped.
The Owls wrap up the regular season Wednesday with a pair of home matches. Rice squares off against No. 21 Texas A&M at 1pm followed by a 7pm tilt with Prairie View A&M. Admission to Jake Hess Stadium is free for both matches.
