AUSTIN - The Rice men's tennis team notched a trio of victories Friday at the Texas Fall Invitational at UT's Penick-Allison Tennis Center.
Freshmen Isamu Tachibana and Christian Saravia picked up straight set triumphs before falling to the top two seeds of the tournament from Texas. No. 5 seed Sam Garforth-Bles was upset in three sets by Denver's Yannick Weihs.
Saravia and Tachibana teamed for an impressive 8-0 doubles win over UTSA's Daniel Moreiras and Spenser Tiller.
