Daniels Named C-USA Athlete of the Week

Houston - For the second time this season, Rice sophomore Marissa Daniels was named Conference USA Cross Country Athlete of the Week.
Daniels finished 15th at the Notre Dame Invitational on Sept. 30, covering the five-kilometer course in 17:28, the fastest weekend time by a C-USA runner.
The Pearland product, who qualified for the NCAA nationals last year as a freshman, also earned Athlete of the Week honors on Sept. 20.
